OUR INTERNATIONAL SERVICE PROJECTS THIS YEAR ARE:

  • We Sponsor a foster child through Childreach.


    This pretty 8 year old little girl is
    Erica Joseph from Gros Balance in Haiti.

    We correspond with her and help to support
    her needs and the needs of her classroom.

    We have supported Childreach since 1985.


  • We maintain contact with our sister club in Merida, Mexico.

  • We participate in all Rotary Foundation Programs.

  • We help to raise money for HungerPlus. All nine districts of the state of Texas joined together in an unprecedented collaboration to do something now about hunger for the very poor Tarahumara Indians in Chihuahua, Mexico.

  • We participate in the District 5890 "Dream Vacation" Raffle.

  • We have issued a challenge to the 53 other clubs in our district to contribute $10 per member to four Matching Grants programs that have been proposed by our District Governor, John Painter, for projects in Brazil, Bangladesh and the Phillipines.
